Base: A solid wood framed platform is generally used as a yurt base. While, EZYurt does not currently provide platforms, we do you have great recommendations for you!

Lattice: EZYurt lattice is constructed of sections of criss-crossed compressed bamboo which expands to become the structure of the wall. This design efficiently distributes weight throughout.

Rafters: Our rafters are constructed of compressed bamboo for optimum strength and longevity. Rafters are evenly spaced making up the frame of the roof.

Compression Ring: This center ring is at the apex of the roof and attaches to the rafters to help bear the weight and load of the roof keeping the structure erect. Our rings are 4.5 ft. in diameter on sizes 16’-27’. Our 30’ model comes with a ring measuring 5’ 8”.

EZYurt yurts have a total of four layers:

A. Exterior: Outer wall layer is poly-cotton canvas material which is 1.5 Mils in thickness and is available in 6 rich colors. Roof material is 2 Mils in thickness and made of waterproof vinyl material available in three neutral tones.

B. Interior: This a 65% cotton, 35% hemp material. EZYurt is offering 6 rich colors to choose from. (Traditionally, interior color matches exterior roof color).

C. Waterproofing: This is a polypropylene waterproof material which is 1.6mils in thickness.

D. Insulation: There are two insulation options available depending on your needs. We offer 8mm Mylar bubble or 8mm wool felt. (More info below).

Windows: EZYurt yurts come stock with 2 windows in sizes under 20ft. 3 windows come stock in sizes over 20ft. EZYurt windows are a new design still remaining quite simple. This design boasts fixed bug mesh, a roll-down marine-grade clear vinyl to block wind, and a roll-down sturdy poly-cotton canvas storm panel; all securely fastened with hefty strips of hook and loop strips. They are equipped with sturdy ties to hold windows open. (Additional windows can be added). Interior of windows is neatly trimmed out with our hefty hook and loop strips to protect interior layers while adding a clean finish.

Doors: EZYurt is currently offering three styles of door all constructed of Camphor Pine. Solid, Panel, and French style double doors are our current offering. Glass is 5mm tempered glass.
